Email Addresses
We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail and email addresses volunteered by the users of this site, such as in PONC related forms. If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by sending us e-mail to the above address with the subject line 'Unsubscribe'.
Personally Identifiable Information
When you enter your postal address on PONC related forms you will only receive mail from us relating to PONC.
Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line will only receive telephone contact from us on matters relating to PONC
Address Data with related PONC details but without personal details such as personal names, e-mail addresses and telepehone numbers may be passed to third parties where that has been agreed to by the user in the completion of the PONC related Forms. Address and PONC data will be passed to Emergency services in the Republic of Ireland and this is agreed to by using the "Get PONC" option. Upon request we can provide persons with details of all information, including proprietary information, that we maintain about them. Our website users can access this information upon e-mail request delivered to the above address. Where necessary, this information can be corrected upon e-mail request delivered to the above address.
All information is collected lawfully and is not knowingly in breach of the Data Protection Acts of 1998 & 2005.
Security
With respect to security: All PONC related data is stored in a password protected database. Sensitive personal data such as names and e-mail addresses is protected further using encryption. We have appropriate security measures in place in our facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you relating to PONC. We will take all reasonable precautions to keep your PONC related details secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.
Changes to this policy
GPS Ireland Consultants Ltd may make changes in or withdraw any part of the privacy policy described here.
As the use of PONC expands we may use PONC related data for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If this happens in the future we will contact you before we use your data for these new purposes to notify you of the policy change and to provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. We will also post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.
